Life is a game
For Some gamers among us
You’ll start the game by choosing the difficulty level you want to begin with: Beginner, Expert, or even Master.
Then, you’ll find yourself in a world to be discovered and enjoyed. You can choose to play with friends you’ve known for a long time, sharing this adventure together. Or maybe you’ll start a whole new game instead.
In this world, you can choose many different paths, depending on your character and what brings you the most joy. Sometimes you find yourself in all the side quests and forget about your main mission — like the daily tasks that will secure your coin, harvesting items to craft gear, and other things that make the game even more exciting. Discover all the possibilities this game has to offer and explore the limits and rules of this world.
It’s easy to get lost here and forget all about the main quest, even though you know that as you progress, the game will get easier. You can, for example, get a mount so you don’t have to walk, or learn new skills that allow you to participate more fully in the community. Challenges on your path become easier to overcome the higher your level. You will be able to guide others when you have mastered the skills they are still learning or struggling with.
What if I told you that life itself is the game you’ve been playing all along? But there are some challenges in this game we call life. Some of us have forgotten our main quest — the mission our soul has chosen to live.
If we remembered exactly what we came here to do on this cosmic planet, there would be no fun in playing the game at all. There would be no human experience. And this is what life is all about: experiencing what it is to be a human being, with all its challenges.
The frequency of the Earth, compared to where we came from, is very different. It’s not what we are used to in our souls, in our being. This can sometimes make the world feel like a cold and heavy place, where you feel you don’t belong — a place you might want to escape from. In side quests, for example: a computer game, or only focusing on other people and their needs. Drugs, alcohol, gambling, and any other addiction. These are all experiences. If you want to walk one of the paths of your main quest, you just have to follow what brings you the most joy.
Can you allow yourself to do so?
When the game is over and the life of our human being comes to an end, we let go of this vessel and remember the wholeness of what we really are. We choose the level of difficulty and the obstacles again — those that will allow us to learn and experience exactly what we are meant to be.
I would like to invite you to remember your wholeness, your light, your fire — the spark that has always been inside of you. Enjoy the game.
